From analyzing complex texts with high schoolers to singing “Hoppe, hoppe Reiter”—I love the full spectrum of teaching! Born and raised in Mannheim, Germany, my American journey actually began way back in 1998 as an exchange student in Minnesota. That experience sparked a dream to live here, which finally came true in 2011.

My background is a fun mix: I hold a degree in Computer Science, have a deep love for classical languages (Latin & Ancient Greek), and live a trilingual life at home (German, Mandarin, English). We have called the Seattle area home since 2016, and my own kids have been EGLS students since 2021.

I am proud to be involved in our EGLS community, serving as a Board Member since 2023 and teaching since 2024. After successfully guiding the Oberstufe 2 class through their DSD II exams, I am thrilled to take on a new adventure in Kindergarten. I believe learning German should be fun, relevant and engaging—I look forward to exploring with your little ones!
