I’ve been an EGLS Parent since 2014 (mom to Felix and Leica, both enrolled in Preschool and Elementary School classes) and EGLS Secretary since 2015. I first came to Washington (from Düsseldorf where I grew up) in 1989 on Highschool Exchange and returned after my Abitur in 1992, studying at Western Washington University in Bellingham. I’ve been working and living in the Seattle area since 1996. To me it’s super important that my children grow up understanding, speaking, reading and writing German and are engulfed in German culture. Felix and Leica get all of this and more (Love our library!) at EGLS. Feel free to say hi and chat.
